Organisation development

  • Preparation and implementation of strategic planning and budget preparation
  • Assessment of risks and prospects of new directions in organisation development
  • Coordination of plans of KHPG activity with the Board of the organisation
  • Control on development of new projects and tender proposals
  • Search for funds for organisation projects (jointly with fundraiser)
  • Participation in preparation of KHPG publications (books, periodicals, pamphlets, manuals, information materials, etc.)
  • Control on trainings, seminars, conferences and consultations
  • Participation in the various KHPG events

Project Management

  • Discussion with project leaders and approval of content and budget of new projects
  • Assessment of new project applications before their submission to donors
  • Control of high quality and timely implementation of KHPG projects
  • Preparation and submission of narrative and financial reports to donors
  • Preparation of the summary of the organisation's work for the annual report
  • Quarterly report to the KHPG Board about the organisation work

Financial Management

  • Money flows management (choice of bank for organisation money keeping, approve the preparation of all necessary documents done by Chief Accountant)
  • Selection of the best form of work remuneration for various types of work (full-time staff, part-time staff, contract workers, etc.)
  • Control over preparation of the annual and quarterly financial reports
  • Cost Control

Staff Management 

  • Development of the policies, rules, procedures and standards of the organisation
  • Identification of staff shortages and preparation of new staff functional duties (jointly with heads of structural units)
  • Attracting new employees (job advertisements, applicants interviewing and selection) together with the deputy director on human resource
  • Control of due treatment and remuneration of the employees
  • Staff assessment (once per year) and setting the goals for the next assessment
  • Organisation of regular staff meetings
  • Staff professional development and personnel training: participation in various trainings, workshops, seminars, conferences, including abroad
  • Control of substantial content and budget of the staff trips and missions
  • Control of due maintenance of the employment records
  • Control of due procedures of staff hiring and dismissal

External communication

  • Function as main spokesperson for the organisation towards the public, media (unless a specific press-officer has been appointed) and authorities
  • Participation in the development and packaging of the key messages
  • Communication of the key messages to target audiences
  • Representation of KHPG at various events (conferences, round table meetings, etc.)
  • Development and maintenance of partnerships with other organisations
  • Presentation of the current KHPG work and its results to the external world

Control of the providing of the proper, timely and effective accounting and presentation of financial statements

  • Control of the Financial Department work

Administrative matters

  • Control on official registration and necessary amendments of the KHPG legal documents (statute, regulations, stamp, registration in the tax and social service authorities, etc.)
