As reported, at the end of May the Director General of the National Television Company of Ukraine [NTCU] Yehor Benkendorf placed a ban on members of staff providing the media with information about NTCU without agreeing this with the Press Service
As reported, at the end of May the Director General of the National Television Company of Ukraine [NTCU] Yehor Benkendorf placed a ban on members of staff providing the media with information about NTCU without agreeing this with the Press Service.
The Kyiv Independent Media Trade Union has announced that it will be appealing against this ban. It has also stated that another priority task as part of the movement “Stop Censorship!” is the battle against censorship and unlawful dismissals of media personnel.
